Very old jacket, sun-faded, with fraying and old repairs, has been repaired using visible mending techniques by Gemma Metheringham 'The elephant in my wardrobe', celebrating the old repairs, in a way you can almost no longer tells what's old and what's new. Medium size (22.5" pit to pit). Sleeves are slightly shorter than usual.
The jacket itself has nice white stitching, a small round collar, 5 front buttons, 3 patch pockets, 1 inner pocket.
Soft cotton. 1940s or earlier.
